About Our Principal

Randall Kinzelman
Principal Designer
Randall Kinzelman is a classically trained architect with a deep appreciation for timeless design and thoughtful craftsmanship. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture, his education emphasized traditional principles of proportion, harmony, and materiality, and these foundations continue to inform his work today. His architectural studies took him to Europe, where time spent immersed in historic architecture sharpened his eye and deepened his respect for the role of context and character in the design process.
Before founding Crocus Hill Design, Randall worked with several of the country’s most esteemed residential architectural firms and contributed to homes that received both regional and national recognition. Through these experiences, he developed a refined approach to design that is anchored in tradition but responsive to the way people live now.
In addition to architectural work, Randall has a lifelong passion for designing and building furniture. This hands-on practice deepens his understanding of materials and scale, and it brings a level of precision and care to his cabinetry design and interior detailing.
Randall brings particular sensitivity to historic homes, with a talent for integrating modern elements in ways that feel seamless and authentic . His work ranges from kitchen and bath renovations to full-home design and custom cabinetry, always guided by a commitment to enduring quality and quiet elegance.
Today, he serves clients who value thoughtful design and personalized service, helping them create spaces that feel rooted, refined, and deeply livable.
